Verizon spent a lot of time looking at all the reasons Fios TV customers like you called into our Support teams or chatted online with one of our agents to see if we could automate any of these fixes. This is a great news for you because instead of having to mess around with Customer Support, you’ll now have many of the tools you need to fix a variety of issues that pop up at your fingertips! And let’s face it, anything we can do at home in our PJs without having any wait time at all is always a good thing. A while back, we made some changes on our Interactive Media Guide (IMG) on Fios TV that will allow you to do a lot more with In-Home Agent. What is happening? I’ve now spent more than an hour trying to buy a new phone through Verizon, have no new phone and feel I can’t trust Verizon.Just in time for the holidays, I wanted to remind you of a little present Verizon brought you. We appreciate you detailing the issues you have been having and would like to get back with you after this session is over. We have about 1.2 million customer using in Home Agent without any issues. I am sorry to hear you have had problems with using your In Home Agent.
I honestly feel like they were trying to scam me, and I am mystified because I initiated the transaction through calling Verizon. First, of all, I am glad you are a happy FiOS customer. This didn’t make me feel better, I doubt that would do any good when I got my next bill with an $80 charge on my new 2-year contract! I again expressed concern, and the agent said fine, I have cancelled the sale. They assured me it was fine and said I could screen shot the convo if it made me feel better. I once again said, look, this doesn’t seem right, it says here $80 per month for the plan instead of $65. I looked again, and the monthly cost for the phone ($7.50) was already broken out, it was not part of the $80. DoNotPay takes a slow, confusing process and simplifies it down to a few basic questions to help you sue Verizon. There are even ways to make this process easier for you. I pointed this out, was told that “lots of customers are confused by that but it’s fine, you will only be charged $65.” They said the price plan “looked higher” because it included the new phone financing. Though suing Verizon can be a time-consuming and challenging process, there is a possibility that you may win. The agent was reinstating the order, but when I went to finalize payment, the monthly price plan was $15 higher than before - $80 instead of $65. So I called customer service and ended up on a chat thru a link texted to me. Put in an order on the website yesterday, got an email today saying my order cancelled.
